The programme 2011-2013 will start on October 2011 and end in June 2013. It includes 18 training months with approx. 2100-2200 training hours. First year: 5th October 2011 - 30th June 2012.
Second year: 4th October 2012 - 30th June 2013.
The training consists of regular classes of 18 hours per week, extended training and intensive rehearsals (2-3 weeks prior to performances). Public performances usually take place in mid January, end of March and end of June, at the end of each topic study. Exact dates will be announced early on.
There will be no classes held for the months of July, August and September.
Holidays: Christmas and Easter (according to Berlin school holidays) and bank holidays.
Fees
The monthly school fee of 330 € is due during training time (18 months). There will be no fees due for the months of July, August and September.
Teaching languages
All course are run in Italian and German; foreign applicants should preferably have a basic knowledge of German. Knowledge of Italian language is not required but desirable. For impro foreign students can also work in their mother tongue.
Third Year (optional)
The Third year is open to applicants who have successfully completed the two-year professional training and wish to explore and to deepen their experience of performer-creators in the realisation a professional production and a theatrical tour. This part-time course is divided in a series of training weekends, plus intensive workshops.
